Carano was was raised as a child in Las Vegas Nevada and born in Dallas County Texas. Her parents are casino executives Glenn Carano. She is the middle of her three brothers. Gina's mother raised her after the separation of her parents after Gina was 7 years old. Lucasfilm's decision to remove Gina Carano after the second season finale in 2021 was the result of her online controversy. Cara Dune, the New Republic marshal, will not make an appearance in The Mandalorian's third season or any different Star Wars episodes.
