April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 in seventh grade. She began playing guitar and taking piano lessons which ignited her love for music writing. April's very first song was titled Different which she composed aged 12. It was a long the time of 14 writing songs, and practicing her music. After that, she started taking trips to write with her father in NY as well as LA. April also began to include various other topics of concern for some of her classmates who struggle in the area of bullying by peers and teens who commit suicide through the songs Take my Hand. Lockhart has a fan base of her own and works as an online lifestyle blogger for the renowned Ilia clean beauty brand. She was born without a left hand. It makes her unique.
