Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actress for many years. Her name is well-known due to the roles she played in film and television. Her fan base is large in American as well as Canadian TV. When Emily was 12 she became fascinated by acting after she visited her sister Katie at the location of one of her films. After Emily discovered her passion for acting, she began acting classes and attended auditions. After a few successful commercials she was quickly booked in the Canadian kids' horror TV series Are You terrified of the Dark? The only thing she had was one with no sound. When she was 15, Emily got her big breakthrough after she was made regular on the WB TV program Glory Days. Emily's performances caught the attention to Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then made her a part of his television show Everwood. Emily is an artist and ballerina, was named by Teen magazine as one of the best actresses younger than 20. In Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked her at number 51.
